Although the Woodstock's claim to fame is they have been open since 1927, calling the menu and decor dated seems too easy, but nothing has changed since the 1990's. The menu is straight from a fine dining 101 text book written in 1992. The lack of any beer on tap also shows the age of the establishment.

Stopped by for dinner on our way to St Johns. The menu is overpriced for the quality you get. My husbands fish and chips was a staggering $29.99 for something that any good diner in the province will sell you for $8.95 to $14.95 and frankly tastes better! My seafood chowder had two shrimp tails swimming in it and some sadly questionable tasting mussels in what can only be discribed as a cheese sauce not a cream base. Sorry Woodstock.... you have a charming Inn but your food doesn't live up to the hype!

Very extensive buffet, something for everyone. Quality is good and setting is cozy and warm.

Excellent experience despite my prime rib being overdone. Dated but cosy dining room. Serving staff top notch.

Just left the Sunday buffet food was barely warm. No waitress taking plates from our table, party of 9. Most meat was tough; large rib, salt beef and roast. Big selection of food but overall nothing fantastic!
